Burned images from my puter to a data disc and when playing the disc in the deck pause on the image you want and go to "capture" on the menu and just go from there. Very simple. You can only do one image at a time though, everytime you upload one it replaces the one you had before..

Do you have the regular iPod cable or the one the unit requires? because the one I have has the usb and the mini jack plugs that go to the deck. My video works fine.. Fro what I understand, the video will not work without the cable with the two plugs..

Since I'm going simple, I was thinking of going with Boston Acoustics since it's what I had on the Tahoe and loved the way they sounded...

Im pretty sure that i have the right cable. Its the IU200v cable. I was able to get it to work once, but cant after that. When i called pioneer, they said that you had to play the ipod video on the AUX channel, and i had to push play on the ipod itself for it to work the one time it did. Im sure its not the deck cause the dvd works fine. Maybe ill just pick up another cable and try it out. No one i know has this deck around here for me to try out.

There is a process to change a setting on the iPod to play video from the ipod screen over to external video I just can't remember how I did it. I have the same cable and my video works fine.. I don't have a manual but if you have one look up playing video on other sources.. I'll dig and see what I find..

I'll be stopping by later on today and see what they have for decks. When I was there last they had a boatload but they were getting picked up quite a bit too so..
