So i drove for an hour and half last night. Opened my doors before turning it off and the dome lights were flickering subtly. Turned it off and it completely died. Thought I was gonna have to miss work, but got in this morning and fired right up. its done it before cause ive gotten in my truck and the radio displayed 12 when it was 8 a.m. I asked my girlfriend why she messsed around with radio in which case she didnt. This is the third time but my actual first time catching it dead. It done it the other times when i was at work and at home asleep. I have led headlights, hid foglights and all my dome lights are led. and of course with the 6hi mod. It sounds like maybe a bad ground but i just want some opinions? need anymore info let me know.
Thanks

First redo the battery connections. Take them off, clean them up with a wire brush and grease them with Penetrox or something similar. Put them back good and tight and see if it does it again.

very well could be. They look solid with no erosion or any spots that would indicate they were bad. Is there a way to check them?

Went and had battery, alternator, and starter tested with that tool. Everything was good. So I do believe you're right about the cables themselves. This weekend gonna take a look and swap them out for some new ones just to see. Thank you for your help sir.

Intermittent electrical problems are the worst to find. Best just to go through the circuit logically and fix /replace things in order one at a time.
