Is there a difference between the 2015 Tahoe and lets say a 2016 or 2017? Did they fix the A/C compressor issue or the buffeting issue in the 2016+ models or is it still all the same materials?

Hard to say on buffeting. Some hear it, some don’t. My car is silent. I have a very late production 16 and so far, nothing wrong to report

G00se has the correct order. 10 is awesome, 6 is old but reliable. The 8, you’re on your own. Being on 3 other enthusiast forums, and friends with camaro and vette, I’d rather buy a Chrysler (reliability wise) than GM anything with the 8speed auto.

I appreciate the replies. So I guess it's a hit or miss type deal here with these newer tahoes and yukons.

It’***** or miss with any new vehicle. I have had a 15,16,17 Tahoe. And a 15 and now 19 suburban. I’m waiting on a 19 Tahoe. Other than some minor issues. Trim and noise in the 17. All’s been good. 23 mpg highway. No substantial negative issues. Everything has been fixed under warranty without question. Either by the selling or servicing dealer, because of where I live, they’re not always the same

My 16 8 speed was a complete lurching clunkfest but I must say that after the fluid TSB work it is materially better. Not perfect but much much better.
