I didn't like the silver bezel and replaced it with matching wood dash trim. The Tahoe has an OEM replacement //the Yukon does not (no matching wood dash) for some reason.:Boo:
. I have the SLT . I can't find the photo I had of the dash, sorry.
Over all the front grill /headlights etc.. are the biggest difference and that comes down to personal opinion.

Hey Kirk, well you know whatever I get it will have to be black black black!:Handshake: I'm like you I don't like the body side molding but that's nothing a little dental floss and goo gone can't take off lol! I'm planning on putting my wheels from my Silverado on a Yukon if I go that route.

What is the difference in the interior that your talking about?

Is the bolt pattern the same on a Yukon as the Tahoe? 6x5.5 with a high 30ish offset?

How does the chrome hood trim piece come off? If I go with a Yukon it will have to get painted black!:D This is how I plan on making a Yukon look if I go with one.

DWDrummer ... what are those headlights? Are those a custom projector fitted into the stock Yukon lights? I have been trying to find some high-quality projectors that aren't all riced out with angel eyes and LEDs like some of the eBay ones. I have heard that the plastic projectors will melt if you do an HID conversion...

Those are the stock headlight housing painted black with retro fit projectors! I think it make the Yukon fronts look so good.

Thanks,

I'd like to know more about the retro fit projectors. Was it a difficult mod requiring custom fabrication and baking of the housing?

Those things are so dope...and exactly what I am looking to do. I dislike the crazy eBay angel eyes with all of the blue LEDs and stuff...I just want a nice clean projector that is high quality and well-fit for an HID conversion. Is that your Yuke? If not, do you have any more info on how/where to get that done? I have seen one other 07-09 Yukon conversion in a different forum that used an Infinity G35 projector and was very tight, but other than that I can't seem to find a basic projector setup for an '07! Thanks for the response

I found these for $700 at http://www.izntrbl.com/0708-yukon-denali-projector-headlights-p-439.html... using your own stock housings! I'll be doing the previously mentioned "Thewes" mod myself instead though...

Those are amazing...pretty sure that they are the same Infinity projector retrofit ones that I was talking about. It is really surprising to me that there aren't more options for a simple projection housing for 07-09 Yukons...

I assume that those would work in a standard '07 Yukon if they work in a new body style Denali, right?

also for every 6 tahoes, they make one yukon. more time spent into making gmc's, higher resale value, and also a layer of sound dampening material in the body panels keeping road noise down. Tahoes do not have this. i think the both are sweet!
