We had the discussion in a for sale thread, rather than keep it going, I figured it could be brought into the Interior forum...

When talking about the cup holders, I posted:

http://parts.nalleygmc.com/showAsse...el=14690&ukey_modelRange=0&searchString=bezel

20820047 - chocolate burlwood cup holders - 2007-2008

http://parts.nalleygmc.com/showAssembly.aspx?ukey_assembly=372758

25912889 - burlwood cup holders - 2007 & 2008

and then

http://parts.nalleygmc.com/showAssembly.aspx?ukey_assembly=372487

20811674 - metal cup holders 2008-2011

20811675 - maple cup holders 2009-2011

20811676 - walnut cup holders 2009-2011

So I'm guessing:

chocolate burlwood is denali 07-08 and the maple is denali 09 and up

burlwood is LTZ 07-08 and walnut is 09 and up

I can't find any cup holders to my the regular Yukon (yellowish) wood like I have

However, today I received the latch piece for my center console. I'm trying to find out if there are different colors for different years.

If you go through http://www.gmpartsdirect.com/catalog/frameset.cfm and look up eash year (2007 through 2011) it will give you 2 different part numbers. 15905985 & 25902018

While looking it up the part numbers here http://parts.nalleygmc.com/showAssembly.aspx?ukey_assembly=372787 it looks like it verifies that the 15905985 is for the 2007 & 2008 and 25902018 is for 2009 to 2011.

So the only thing I can come up with is there are at least 4 different woods for NNBS suv's.

Denali 07 & 08
Denali 09 through 11

And I know the Yukon wood is different than the Tahoe wood, but I'm not sure if there is a difference in yukon woods from 07-08 and 09-11. I have no idea about the Tahoe wood compared to the LTZ wood either.

I've got wood.

So far as I was aware before you posted the parts search results on the other thread, there were four type of trim finishes.

1. Chevy. This faux burlwood is actually constant across all the Chevy cars and trucks and I am all but certain that there's no other variation of wood color for Chevys. When I got the LTZ upholder for my Hybrid it matched perfectly, and every late model chevy I have rented or been in has the same finish.

2. Chevy brushed metal/aluminum finish.

3. Denali dark wood finish.

4. Escalade ... they have different wood and metal finishes they mix and match in different escalade models.

Now according to your investigation there a couple of other wood trim variations ... it seems that one of them is in the base Yukons of some years which looks similar to the Tahoe and but not exactly the same, and some other mystery variation that I've never seen ... unless it refers to the escalade one in which case they are all accounted for.

I think. :)

I currently have the Tahoe wood at my house. These 2 pics are of my Yukon (actual pic) and then a pic of the Tahoe wood. Even though my Tahoe wood has been sanded, you can tell it's completely different than my Yukon wood. The Yukon wood is lighter/yellower than the Tahoe wood. Even the pattern is different

However, I still believe there is a difference in the Denali wood from 07&08 to the 09 and up. I wish I had a few for sale near me...
