Differential Refill Fluid Levels?

Thanks everyone. I think you've got it covered. Sorry for making it rocket science when it really wasn't.
I once visited a urologist who said, with finger in air, "you can never have too much lube."

What fill line? I haven't talked to superman in ages.
What I found was .04" to .75" below the bottom of the fill hole for the rear and 0" to .125" below for the front, so basically filling and letting it dribble to the bottom of the hole works for me.

That's the fill line! hehehe

Just did mine a few weeks ago. The factory fill is slightly below the fill hole. When I removed the fill plug nothing came out. When I refilled I had a slow drip. I don’t think it’s that critical to be soo precise.
