Hi guys

I have a 2000 Yukon, new body style, no Bose, with factory sub.

Has anyone modded the dash to accept double din receivers? I want to get in-dash dvd/nav, but I think the flip up screens look gawdy.

Thanks!

Edit: I did some more searching, and have seen a few different ways, using an 03 bezel and skeleton, or cutting up the current bezel. Any pics would be appreciated of yours though :)

welcome to the forum first. the easy way wqould be to cut about a 1/4" from the bottom of the bezel to allow for the screen to open if its that type. but if its not that type there isnt much triming to do. most shops charge a lot for a double din install when it really isnt that hard. if you have some knowledge of car audio you could do it.

At the top of this section there is a sticky thread about modding the dash for a dd.
