In the 02...Pioneer w/DVD with BT. Biggest improvement was adding Infinity kappas in all 4 doors.
Shallow mount Pioneer 8" sub in factory enclosure with Kicker 600 watt sub amp.
Also added an 05 steering wheel with working steering wheelcontrols.
Phenomenalsound quality.

For the 2007... On Wednesday I installed new Pioneer DMH-W4660 NEX with wireless carplay and wireless Android auto etc. and 4 new Infinity 6.5 in the 4 doors
Huge upgrade from Pioneer
AVH-490BS and stock Bose.

Ok, so you like those Infinity door speakers. What other speakers have you had that you can compare those to? I'm just trying to gauge which door speakers are the better option. Did you run any power to the Infinity's?

I am in the process of upgrading the system in my 02 Yukon. I chose a Pioneer AVH-521EX DVD head unit and Alpine S-S65 speakers in all 4 doors. Components in the front and matching 2 way speakers in the rear doors. For the sub woofer, I am going back with another 8" shallow unit that will fit in the factory position. After reading about the short comings of the factory amplifier (Non Bose), I decided to resurrect one of my old amps and put it under the second row seat. It is an older PPI4400 from the 90's. It still works great, so why not. After everything is installed, I'll report back with the results. I set a modest budget for my old truck and am happy with the components I have selected. Time will tell if I have chosen wisely or not. LOL

If the Pioneer is a dd it won't fit in your 02. You'll need to get a bezel and radio cage from an 03-06. Not sure if you've done so already.
