I recently purchased a 2004 AWD Yukon SLT. It is the dark blue color. I've been thinking about dipping everything black that's not already blue eventually. Any thoughts? I will be adding black wheels and some form of mud/all terrain tires early next year. Also this truck has Autoride can keys and spacers be used to level the truck? Thanks guys look forward to posting build pics soon

Just took my 3 year old dip off. Never again put that crap on a vehicle and leave it on there. It was a ***** to remove and no detail shops would touch it. Finally it's decent enough to get detailed and repainted stock color

Sounds like you didn't put it on thick enough to have it peel off in one piece

I had it on my side moldings and rims, The moldings were ok (Had about 3 THICK coats on them) but the rims I couldn't keep it on them. Its more of a temporary thing to see if you like the color in my opinion, I have since painted my moldings and grill black instead of using plastidip.

Shop did it with 6 coats supposed. I know after years of abuse that crap breaks down. It wouldn't peel as special adhesives and promoters was used.
