Hello all! I am new to this forum but my fascination with Suburbans/Yukon XLs/Escalades began since I was young. I have been looking at the latest 21 Suburbans at a few dealerships here in Nevada, but whenever pricing comes into the picture few are willing to budge, which I totally understand since it is a new vehicle... The best I got was $1,500 off $73,000 (MSRP + Taxes).

I was thus wondering, after a couple of years when the hype dies down, what is a normal/average discount one would get off the MRSP? 8% to 10%?

Wait until Christmas time and sometimes in July. GM will offer GM employee pricing for everyone.

If your willing to travel, some dealerships are about 4K off msrp in the mid Atlantic Search around and look. I used autotrader to narrow my results. Later this month should be good. Year end. Check Laura Buick/Gmc. They are a huge volume dealer around St. Louis. Good luck

Just bought Tahoe Z71 on 11/19 and got $3385 off MSRP for the Military Veteran discount and another $1000 off with a Costco promotion going on right now. Some dealers are also offering a "Trade Assistance" if you're trading in a 2008 or newer with under 120,000 miles and another called "Down-Payment Assistance" if you finance through one of their lenders. Just depends on your area on what deals are out there. As I said, I got the Military Veteran deal, but they are also giving one for First Responders, so if you fit in any of those categories, you might ask about those, but not all dealers participate. Doesn't hurt to ask.

Salesmans games! Arrange your own financing and/or cash price 12-15 percent off.
Theese trucks are hard to get- you better jump on it! Inventory costs big money, especially in states with an inventory tax. Buy before fiscal year end for best discounts there.

Would there be any logic on 2021's in any incentives or Employee pricing etc, Say after Jan 1st? Might make a little more sense if the MY is over half over....

Was able to get medical/first responder discount (essentially employee pricing) on mine in November along with Costco.
