Alright well today i finally got around to putting my intake manifold back in, well when i went to put the distributor back in i couldnt get it to line back up with the marks i made, it wont go all the way down into the engine, i can turn it and it drops down in three places, but nowhere where i need it to be, i heard something about the oil pump shaft turning, is there a way to turn it to where i need it to be?

unknown at this time.
a long slotted screwdriver will reach the slot on the pump shaft. do some geometry math in your head and position that puppy to line up with the dizzy as it drops in.
