Diy catch can install

This is after my first oil change with the catch can installed. That's a lot of junk for 5000 miles. I'm running a synthetic Mobil one which is why I go a little bit longer.

Ahhh, heavy footed. That's probably why. Thankfully my gf drives mine most of the time, if not I'd probably have a whole quart in my can!

Getting ready to install my can this weekend and I want to make sure I'm doing it right. My 2011 Tahoe has this hose running from the engine to the intake tube:

So essentially I'm just cutting that hose and installing the catch can in the middle of it, right? I've seen a lot of posters mentioning doing it on the driver's side in this thread but I don't see anything that looks like the PCV line on the driver side.
