The Bose amp does not have any rca. It's just factory wiring harnesses. (3 of them)

I might try ordering a new interface to try sometime. Any recommendations?

I thought the PAC interface used the aftermarket HU's low-level RCA outputs to feed the Bose amp and if you weren't connecting it to an amp you cut the RCA ends off and connected the wires to the radio's speaker outputs.

If I were to get another interface, the idatalink Maestro RR would be tops on my list.

Sorry to be a newb here but what are you guys talking about when you say Rosen?

Looking at pacs website I do believe I have the right interface . There are others I can try but would rather not just throw money down the drain as I feel the interface is not the issue. The issue I believe has to do with the factory amp. I think it's driving too much power through the system and is causing the static. I've tried to search and search on how to bypass this but can't find anything. If I could just find wiring diagram for the amp I'll just splice the speaker input straight to the radio and bypass the amp . But with the factory wiring I have no idea which wires are which and don't want to butcher it up

Sorry for the confusion...

Rosen is the brand of the HU I installed in my truck.

I have a Rosen GM1210. It looks practically identical to the factory Navigation HU that I removed but it has a lot more options and the sound quality is a dramatic improvement.

The Rosen's were actually installed as a dealer upgrade in many cases.

There are no need for additional modules to maintain functionality of all the factory components such as steering wheel controls, rear seat entertainment, etc.

Again sorry to get off topic.

call pac tech support and see what they can do or suggest then and go from there, they should also be able to tell you which wires are which in case you do need to go a different route, on the pac I was using there is a switch on the side for different adjustments not sure if one of those is gain or not.

The switch in the side of my pac is for programming of the SWC. I have no questions for PAC as I know what the wires are on the interface. I guess I'll probably just end up taking my speakers out and testing for continuity between the speakers and the wiring harness to factory amp. Can't seem to find any info otherwise on bypassing the Bose amp
