Do I need spacers?

I have a 2/4 drop on my Denali with 22" OEM Denali wheels and sometimes when turning real fast or driving fast on an on/off-ramp, I'll hear a rubbing sound from the rear; Either I am rubbing on my shocks or rubbing somewhere in the wheel well. Do you think I need spacers?

mine did that till the tires wore the liner down. jack up one corner slightly and see where it rubs

i wouldn't recommend spacers at all like how waxwork said jack up the back and see were it rubs, and get a dremel and trim off the inner wheel wall, i had to do this on all 4 corners of the inner wheel wall. never again rubbed.

i wouldn't recommend spacers at all like how waxwork said jack up the back and see were it rubs, and get a dremel and trim off the inner wheel wall, i had to do this on all 4 corners of the inner wheel wall. never again rubbed.

And why wouldn't you recommend spacers?

by adding spacers you are increasing the likely hood of a balance problem because they make it more difficult for the wheel to center itself. They also put more stress on the lugs.

I would strongly suggest getting wheels that have the correct offset from the beginning than trying to make something work imo.

X2 if it's that bad, get new wheels. I have run spacers on other cars and one broke. Luckily I was only doing 20-25 MPH when it completely well out I guess. It created a gap between the wheel and the disc, that resulted in the lugs getting stressed and failing. If you've never seen your own wheel keep going down the road as you grind to a halt, you haven't experienced a broken spacer lol.

You can get spacers, but to do it the right way and have no balance issues nor stress issues, make sure you get "hub centric spacer" problem solved.

It's not THAT bad. It only does this when I have my trunk full of weight or 2-3 passengers in back.

These are OEM Denali 22" wheels off of a 2010 Denali, so the wheels should be fine.
