I put a set of belltech 2" lowering coil springs on my 07 non-autoride tahoe. I thought it looked a little low in the back so I bought a 1" spacer for the coils. When I put the springs on, I also added the shock relocation kit. Since I'm raising it up again and only dropping it 1" do I need this shock relocation bracket? Does it hurt anything to leave it on? Would it hurt anything to take it off?
thanks

I would venture to say you do not need it. A fully loaded Tahoe drops more than a inch anyway and your stock shocks don't complain then.......

Since you have them on I would say leave them on.

When I did mine I used new shorter shocks.

Well, I added the spacers and raised the back up almost an inch. I like the slight rake now. To me, it's perfect. Anyways, I took off the shock brackets. If anyone needs a set, let me know, they were on the truck for about 1 week, look like new and basically still are, lol. thanks guys

Glad you got it figured out and are happy with the results... Could you post some pics of the final result?

Here's one, It's only a 1" drop in the rear now. but without doing anything to the front on the 4wd version, to me it looks like just the right amount of rake. Maybe one day I will drop all 4 corners.
thanks everyone for the advice.

How compressed are the springs at rest with the spacers in?

Please post a picture of it WITH the weight of the truck on the springs.

I would like to see how much they compress.

Thank you.

Do you mean a pic of the spring itself? I'll take one tonight when I get home.
