hey guys I have an 05 Yukon xl and the front door speaker grills say Bose but I don't have a sub in the rear drivers location for a sub. My head unit is a six disk in dash changer. I pulled the cup holder in the console and didn't see an amp or subwoofer.

How can I tell if I have Bose or not? Looking to add Bluetooth and need to know what kind of head unit I have.

Only the Denali models came with the amp and sub under the center console. You probably have what gm called the "non lux" bose package. At least that's what I think it's called.

@YukonXL04 , that interesting because when I was shopping for my denali, none of the slt yukons I looked at had the sub under the center console. Only the denalis I looked at had it.

Hmm. Just about every 03-06 yukon with a full console I have seen has had it. Even cloth sle versions. There were few that didn't have the sub and amp though. Mostly trucks though. Maybe it varys by location. Maybe texans were more likely to order bose hahaha

If you need a new radio, I have one I took out of my old car (sold it 5-6 years ago) that I just found. I'd be happy to let it go for a steal.

I removed the huge cup holder "pan" and saw no signs of an amp or subwoofer. I may need to get an inspection mirror out or remove more of the console. It sounds pretty good right now but I want bluetooth. It would be easier to add bluetooth if I did not have the bose system (just ad an aftermarket double din). I really dont want to have to buy the double din, and 100 dollar harness to convert to BOSE.

Thanks for the input guys.
