I've done it on several vehicles with good success. All depends on the contours of the lights of how hard the install is. Make sure you order the pre-cut versions for easier install....

On headlights of my old Dodge "light smoke"

Okay... looks pretty easy to do. Planning on doing the rear and maybe the heads. For the rear... black out and heads... lights smoke!
