I bought my 2004 Burb on credit Feb 2009 for $14500. You might say to much for a 5 yr old truck but it was a excellent price for up here. Only one I found under $18000 and was mint with the exception of a couple of scratches. When oil went real high people were dumping them like crazy. Thats when I made my move. Now a 5 year old one goes for almost $20000. I ended up paying it off by Sept 2009. Do I derserve it. Im not one to say. Do I need it. Hell yeah we tow a 5000 lb trailer with it. As for mods. all I have done so far is new trailer hitch as i dint trust the round tube pos that was on it, brake controler, in channel vent shades, and cb radio for long trips. It's mine payed for and I clean it religiouly. Inside and out. Oh also the engine compartment is spotless. Well not right now its covered in salt gotta love winter. In the spring though I will clean it out. Do I drive like a 16 year old. hmmmmmmmmm sometimes but not stupid like a 16 year old. Time and place for everything. I know what my truck is capable of and when i need it I know what it can do. Do I race it not a chance thats stupid. I plan on doing many more mods to it but time and money is in my way. Mortgage on house food on the table is more important. I have about $5000 for mods at the moment. Im just waiting for the right time and price for the things I want. It will get there sooner or later. One thing I am really thinking of is a imobilizer. it is something you keep on you not your key chain. If your car get stolen or car jacked it kills the power. Low jack might be a route i might go also. Anyway it's not for me to say if I deserve it and i've wasted another 5 mins of your life you wont get back. lol cheers

i paid 15000 for the same thing in 08.. 2004 1500 4x4 with the 5.3 sunroof and all in perfect shape, mint basically. I think you get an awful lot for 15000 bucks than alot of vehicles at twice that price. On a side note, cheap yukons/hoes abound, most are 2wd and lacking in goodies, i love my rig and wouldnt give her up for anything less than an H1 Alpha. Ive had her out bush here in the outback an awful lot, do all the work myself since there isnt a GM dealer anywhere within 10000 miles :) ive been in the navy for 7 years now, deployed 3 times (somalia mostly) yeah, i think i deserve my Yukon.

OK i deserve mine without a daubt i bought "MyHoe" last year and paid 9gs for her,I wanted a 2 wheel drive 2 door for the longest time and could never get one, then i came into a little extra money and started looking, well no one in the area had a stock one (I had specific ideas for how I wanted to fix one up) so i was about to give up when I came across mine. It was already lowered the way I would have done it and almost the exact wheels i wanted not to mention BLACK the guy wanted 11gs for it i talked him down to 9 some might say to much but if you buy a stock one for 5 and add the beltech suspension and Coddington wheels its going to be close to 10gs so i bought it,Mods i have added and install myself include the stereo, blue LED neon lights and custom blue knight rider scanner light in the grill, new radiator, alt. 12' flip down monitor fog lights in valance.
So I think i deserve mine 100%

All of my vehicles, including the 3 the wife has, have been bought & paid for by me as well as full coverage insurance.

All mods have been paid for by me with a mixture of professional & self installs. It seems like they will never end. :emotions122:

I've always wanted a Hoe or Yukon in 2 door form. Times/needs changed & I came across this one back in '06. It had 42k on the clock with 1 owner that had meticulous maintenance records. It was worth every bit of $10k that I paid for it.

mine was given to me to drive like aquinosteven. but everything done to it was out of my pocket i treat it like its mine and take very good care of it and SOMETIMES i drive to have fun but very not often, im a respectful driver. an no i dont deserve it and i feel guilty having it but my parents surprised me with it and what dumbass would say no to that? haha. but i would have been happy with a pos that i fixed up. im given alot but my morals and personality are the opposite of spoiled. and i strongly back that up

Why didn't these things come with a "warning label" or some sort of "buyer beware"? The damn thing needed to read "...you will spend 2 to 3 times the amount you paid in mods & repairs so get a 2nd job." :nutkick:

Coincidentally, I just replaced my upper & lower balljoints 1 1/2 weeks ago. :chair:
