Do your 3rd row seats fold down flat?

New to this forum. Bought a 17 Yukon SLT for the wife at Christmas. Damn rear seat not folding flat was bothering me and the wife. I’ve been looking online for a fix. But, after losing 2 gallons of milk in the driveway today. I took the third seat out. Floor is finally like it should be. Took me 20 minutes. Already had the Weathertech cargo mat. Everything looks and works awesome now.

Could you by chance take a picture of that? Is there a big hole where the seats went? Thx.

Floor is flat from second row all the way to the back. Will need a mat. Because there will be a void in carpet and padding where the seat was bolted down.

Did you have keyless entry? If so, did you lose it when you unplugged the seat? I did. At least I think that what caused it.

Yes I lost mine also when removed third seat? Had wife take to dealer to see why and they said it had to do with unplugging that seat, they had to take out the wood cover I made to get to that plug and they did something to it? (Wife never asked what they did exactly) and it was fixed??

Ya. It’s just a plug for the keyless remote antenna . It’s hiding under the carpet under the third seat. You must have unplugged it when removing seat. That’s what happened to me. Seems easy to unplug. Doesn’t seem to be a clip to hold it together. Oh well. I figured it out and it’s fixed now.

I have a 2015i Yukon Denali and the 3rd row are power folding and using the buttons they don't seem to go far down enough leaving a slope towards the rear of the vehicle. I asked the dealer and they said that is how it is supposed to be, but when you look at the accessories page on GM's page there are cargo liners that show a flat rear storage area.

Anyone else having this issue?

Mine slope to the tailgate too.

I know this is an old thread but I’ll give it a shot. Having the same issue with my 2018 Tahoe Premier. It would be understandable if it had always been that way, but what I can’t understand is why it’s not on all vehicles, just some of them, it seems to be at random. (Maybe a production line?)
My 2018 Premier doesn’t fold flat but my 2015 LTZ folded PERFECTLY FLAT. I’ve also come across a car review posted by a reputable site talking about the writer’s first impression of the new 2015 Tahoe model at the time. He notes the issue with the 3rd row not laying flat like on other SUVs. So, why wouldn’t his 2015 Tahoe seats lay flat but my 2015 would? That makes no sense. Either all lay flat or none. And if some lay flat, why can’t a dealership compare the flats to non-flats and spot the issue?
Based on the experience of all out there who’s tinkered with the seats, is there any way to adjust it without taking the seats out for good? Thanks for reading!
