Does a 2004 Yukon Steering wheel fit on a 2001?

Hey i checked the parts list and it says 2002, but isnt 2001 the same as the 2001.

Im looking at a nice 2001 denali, of course i would love to have an 2003+ but budget is kinda limited.

Really like the 2003 steering wheel instead of 2001, can they be switched?

i would like to do the same to mine. i dont think its possible. as the cruise control switch is not on the steering wheel on 2001. but dont know might be possible

weak, the steering wheels on the 2003+ are so much better looking, much more modern look. The ones in the 2001s look almost the same as the 95s..

What about just making the cruise control switches dummys then. Keep the regular cruise on the 2001 hooked up, and just install the new 2003 steering wheel but dont connect any of the switches up?
