Does anyone have info on 2022 Tahoe re lifters?

When are they coming out? Has GM done anything different to eliminate the lifter problem?

'22s are arriving at dealers now. Everything i've seen about the lifters points to a supplier defect and build dates through Mar 2021. Will be interesting to see if vehicles built after that still have issues.

I am watching this space carefully (my 2021 AT4 Sierra was built in October). So far, I have not seen a post of someone who had a lifter failure outside the GM published "bad lifter batch" engine build window dates. We shall see.

From everything I have read, they are the same lifters that have been used in the AFM/DFM trucks for more than a decade, so if nothing has changed, regular maintenance should yield a very long service life.
