Dogs and Captains Chairs

Hi, we are looking to pull the trigger on a '21 Yukon, but they're impossible to find with the second row bench. Our yellow lab usually hangs out in the second row on road trips. What has your experience been with dogs and captains chairs? Do they make themselves comfortable on the floor between the seats? Curl themselves up in a ball on the little chairs? Interested in your opinions. Thanks!

the bench is an orderable option, but it's not the default. The captain's chairs won't be comfy for a big dog. There might be enough room on the floor between the seats, but unless the seats are in the full rearward position, probably not enough room in front of the seats on the floor...

We haul dogs often. We opted to order the bench seat. Order times will be getting shorter and we saved a couple grand to be able to buy exactly what we wanted. You probably want to delete the entertainment screens with dogs and you can save some real money.

You'll be glad you did several years into ownership. It makes a huge flat area for gear and crates.

We ordered a Yukon Denali last month -- and this was one of the main options we wanted (60/40 second row). We also didn't want the rear seat entertainment, but we added on the air suspension.

Our large dog fits fine on the floor between the 2nd row captains chairs.
