I've been fixing up some things on my Tahoe and found out that my dome/Door courtesy lights (All interior Lights) Don't come on when any door is open. I have played with the dome override button and all it does when the button is out is turn on all the interior lights till I push the button back in even after being on for a few minutes.

I have a few Questions about it.

Do The dome lights normally come on when any door is open?

When A door is open does that individual door Light come on or do all the door lights come on?

all the dome lights, doors and under dash lights should come on when any door is open. make sure the dome defeat switch is out and the lights are on then close the door. in less then a minute the interior lights should go out. if they do not it is possible one of the door switches is broken causing the circuit to be grounded and keeping the lights on or something is wrong with the interior lamp control module. because it may not be considered a luxury model you will likely not have a body control module to worry about so it should be very easy to find the issue.

Thanks, I ended up getting up early and removed all the door switches and barn door switch and cleaned them. Everything works now as far as I know.
