Apparenty MBEC = Left I/P Junction block...
(Not to be confused with the I/P Fuse block which is on the left side of dash/instrument panel!)
Best I can tell the red pins should be for your radio and multifunction switch panel..(M3 and K2)
Not sure if the problem is there, but it might be worth a shot to inspect the connector, which appear to be on the backside of the unit.
