I have been having trouble with waking up to a dead battery in my HOE,Noticed today while sitting with a client of mine talking about doing a job,the buzzer started going off while it WASNT running/Keys in the ignition and the doors shut. Pulled the keys out and it was still doing it. So when I left the job, driving home it stayed on the whole time. Needless to say 1 hour drive with a buzzing sound makes you wanna trash your hoe! lol Any ideas on what I can do,or how to shut it off...Please anything will help,or it will sit in the driveway till the paint falls off!! Is it something stupid and easy to do??:emotions122:

I assume these have the door pin thing (can't think of the correct terminology) in the latch so start messing around with things there.

Do you have an aftermarket radio ?

If you dont, you can try resetting the computer.
This is done by disconnecting both the positive and negative leads from the battery and then touching them together for about a minute.

Now you might be saying to urself "what does having an aftermarket radio have to do with my door chime problem?"

This is because when you change out the radio you have the option of retaining the door chime or eliminating it and if you choose to retain it there is a vehicle specific harness that you have to use. Some times these harnesses are the problem. So thats why I ask about the aftermarket radio.

Had a similar issue on another truck i owned. The PIN if im correct is in the door latch. Get a can of wd-40 and spray up your latches and see if you get lucky!! Good luck

Dont forget to do all doors even truck hatch!
