Door Edge Guard Length

For those of you who installed door edge guards, did you stop at the body side molding, or did you continue on down after the molding? I see the very bottom of the door curves out so may be the most likely area to hit something. Where did you start on the top? By the door handle? Just wondering what others did and how it looked.

I did Xpel all the way down and couldn't be happier

That's a good idea. I will look into this.

I'll try to take a pic for you this weekend. He lined it up with the slight roll of the metal on the edge so it looks very natural
