Door latch stuck

Was having a problem opening my door from inside so opened from outside, messed with the latch and it got stuck, tried unlocking the door with the key and didn't work so now I cant shut my door

probably broke a rod or spring. will have to take off door panel to find out.

My drivers door sometimes gets the latch out of sequence and
latch ends up in closed position and bounces off of latch post.
Check to see if your latch (on end of door is open), if not lift outside door handle and reset (open) the latch by hand.

Hello, Frank here.
1999 denali
Passenger door will not open, and I cannot remove the door panel. The int. handle also broke. I wa able to remove trim piece from inside and it feels as if I can almost pull the rod enough to undo the latch, but not quite.
Help will be greatly appreciated, as it is getting ridiculous chauffeuring my family around.

No possibility of deliberately breaking your exterior handle or interior handle to gain access to the latch mechanism inside, then open then tear down door to repair everything? I assume the locking slide on the interior handle or key still seem to lock or unlock the vehicle to the best of your knowledge. Here is a breakdown of the door.
