door lock problems

you need to have the busted clip in hand when you shop for a new one. that way you get what you need. advance auto seems to have a load of all things plastic clip related.

I think the actuator might be the problem. I can get everything to work manually but as soon as I use the key fob or the unlock button on the door, I can hear the actuator moving but the door doesn't lock. and after I do that I can not unlock it manually again. my wire harness has 3 plugs but the actuator only has space for 2 plugs. and I'm also getting a door ajar message
