Ever since I bought my tahoe, for whatever reason the front door locks never locked automatically, you always have to manually lock them. Kind of a pain if it's just you in the car. Even more of a pain is when you go to unlock it, you have to go to the front passenger side door and unlock it with a key, and then reach over and unlock the drivers door.

Well today, I found out my rear barn doors don't even lock AT ALL. You go to lock it with the key and it doesn't even turn (was also around 20 degrees out, can something be frozen?). So I need to get this fixed ASAP and was wondering what you guys think the problem is? I'm getting an oil change in a couple days so im gonna ask my mechanic/friend what he thinks the problem is and if he can fix it.
