Does anyone have any instruction on replacing the front door hinge pins and bushings. I saw someone had one that stated remove the door first, but I am unsure exactly how the door comes off, is the wiring harness on the inside of the cab? It looks to me that you would have to remove the hinge pins before you remove the door. Any advice would be appreciated.

LMC and some parts suppliers have front hinge pin kits and they really are not to hard to do, I used a motorcycle lift (potable) and padded it well and took the load off of the door and secured the top with straps ,disconnected the pins and moved the door out without undoing any wires. It takes 4 kits to do 2 doors ,minimal tools can be fiddly but not to bad.

Definitely have a friend help you with the door if youve never taken one off. The best way to do it is take off the side dash covers (where the fuse box is) and unplug the wires that go to the door (Reach under the dash to find the wires that come from the door, and follow them up. I believe there are 3 plugs. Two in the kickpanel and one where the fuse box is) Then remove the 10mm Bolts from the bottom of the door hinges, and lift the door up. Door will come right off the hinges and separate from the body. Best thing to do is make sure the window is all the way down, that way you can grab on to the upper door frame to make it easier. Then its just a matter of using a punch to get the bushings out.

I finally did this job. It was a lot tougher than I thought it would be. I lifted the door off with a engine lift, so that wasn't too bad. Mine only had one plug on the inside in the fuse box there, so that wasn't too bad. The hard part was getting the hinge pins and bushings off, I used a sawzall to cut off the major portions of the pins and then pulled the C shape part out and beat out what was left of the pins. Then I used the newer bolt on type from Autozone, I think it was Dorman brand. The hard part I had was getting the door back on, I had a hard time making the door line back up. I finally got it where it was on a couple of the top pins and close to the bottom ones and shook it from the back of the door and it fell into place. It took me much longer than I thought as it was very tough getting the door on and getting the old pins out.

front door now no longer sags or pops open, when opening the door, but I still have some wind noise coming in from the road that shouldn't be. Not sure how to find it.
