So just recently my driver side door makes this loud popping sound every time I close it. It sounds almost like the hinge is catching. I've looked to see what the problem is and I can't seem to find out how to fix it. Anyone know any tricks?

Ditto. Lube it with some good grease and don't be afraid to gob it up. Mine did it too. Lubed it and she's golden.

The popping sound is from the piece that is kinda in the shape of brass knuckles and rolls over the door pin btw

I just sprayed a boat load of WD-40 up there and it sounded better for a little bit. So I'm applying more and more about once every two weeks.

I would try something a little stronger than WD40.

I used a white lithium grease and the door has been quiet since early in the summer.
