Door / side molding tape?

2010 LT Tahoe: So from reading thru this post i will be using fishing line and Turtle Wax remover and 1" 3M exterior tape.
Do to it being winter and not having a heat gun but placing in the oven for mmmm 20 minutes at 100 degrees? Not sure if it would be hot enough but would evenly disburse the heat? Recommendations?

You’re going to need some heat for removal to make sure you don’t take any paint with you. Do you have a Harbor Freight? They have heat guns for $10 on sale. If not how about a blow dryer?

Going to give it a try, mine is raised up a lot now. I do not think my 09 Tahoe would look good without the trim pieces,
plus it would be a lot of work to pull all 4 off and I would probably scratch the paint before done Haha

Use a piece of fishing string between the trim and door to avoid scratches and an eraser or glue remover. 3M makes a good one. Good luck
