Side Moldings on the Burb are a bit weather worn from the sun on the top edge and need repainting as they are fading pretty good.

Question:
- Paint them and make then look as new again or take them off?

ANYONE has a pic of the NNBS Burb with the Door Side Moldings removed, how does it look?

Thanks.

x2 on replace with new ones. Either stockers or "upgrade" to the Esky side molding with the chrome strip along the top.

I like them without, but since it is your wife's, I would recommend keeping them on there. If she is like mine, door dings are unavoidable!

The side moulding on the 07-08 models are kinda "meh". Either take it all off or get the 09+ LTZ/Denali side moulding that's color matched with chrome trim on top.

I would keep them. I am not a fan of chrome though.... Also, if you do chrome molding then get chrome "other stuff" (handles, roof rack, window sills, etc.) or else it looks out of place.

So I would say paint them, or replace depending on $$$.

Escalade moldings are just a chrome strip. You are referring to the ones on the 09' LTZ/Denali moldings which are painted with a chrome strip on top.

I'd be concerned out paint discoloration on the body if the moldings are weather damaged.
