Have a question --
Anyone ever replaced the door weatherstrip? Do you have to pull the dash out to replace it or can you get it squeezed in there between the jam and the dash. Also, except for the obvious points, I assume the surrounding trim just snaps in.
Thanks

The old weather stripping will pull right off. The new will snap/clip right on.

i wound up breaking those 2 little tabs on the side of my dash. but since both sides broke, it isn't as noticeable. i tried everything to get them to release, but i was just too rough i suppose. i'm sure there's someone here that's done it without breaking it, or has a good method to get the trim out, but i got a little dicey with it and mine broke. so, oh well. it's not that big of a deal, and actually i forgot about it until you asked. thanks lou. sigh. :)

Two tabs? Branndon did you have to pull the dash out to replace the weatherstrip?
That's what I want to find out.

oh no. not at all. in your picture, where the A pillars come down and meet that probably, eh, 14" piece of trim that tucks behind the dash, that you just see the edge of? that's what i ended up breaking. but no, the dash does not have to come off at all. the weatherstripping tucks in beside the dash cap.

Great. Thanks Branndon. If the rain stops today I'll work on it.
