Dorman makes a drop in replacement projector fog?

my fogs finally melted after 2 years running HID, after extensive searches for replacements that would work for HID I found these on carid and they state they are for 07-08 yukon denali, the mouting locations in the picture look like they might work

I think the picture on CarID's website is BS. These are factory replacement fog light housings, not projector housings. The Dorman part number listed on CarID's website is 923-841 and if you type this part number into Dorman's website under a product search, it comes up with an image of our standard type fog light housings, NOT projector replacements.

oops bad pic, pic is for Equinox, Camaro ZL1 etc. Correct part number goes for about $55 each Amazon.

That begs the question, does the Camero mounting match up so the could be swapped in.

No, Camaro mounting is different for projector style fog. 3 tabs on facia push into circular slots around the exterior of the projector style bulb. Bulb pushes in from the rear of the facia.
