Ok, I've read the sticky post on fitting a d/d in a non-d/d dash, and decided to go with a newer cage first. I've bought a 2003 (i believe) double din cage, and am going to retro fit it into my 2000. Other than changing the cage, what else will need to be done? I have the install kit for my 2000, but I assume I'll need yo get one for 03 or newer now right? What about HVAC controls...... saw soomrthing about moving them down a touch. Any insight on how to do this, or is it neccessary. Also what about dash bezel, easier to trim mine, or buy a 2003 or newer bezel? How is the fit on the newer bezel to my dash? thanks for the help. Pics would be great if anyone has some of this install.

It says that the 03 and newer dash doesn't fit perfect. Anyone know why, and what part this isn't right about it? Anyone have pics.....

the 03+ bezel blocks the power outlets a little bit and messes up the door opening and closing on that, as well as it fitting goofy since the openings arnt the same size for the hvac area
