i ave a JVC KWV420BT. i love it. it is the first non Pioneer head unit i have ever owned.
How's the Bluetooth pairing? I have a JVC single DIN media unit installed in my wife's car. BT is slow to pair, sometimes only pairs the phone, sometimes only the audio, sometimes it needs to be power cycled to connect properly. I had seen similar reports of slow pairing on newer units, so I just stopped looking into it and moved on.

I can't see your sig for some reason.
If you are on a mobile device, turn your phone sideways. There is a different mobile layout depending on if the view is portrait or landscape, and for some reason they display different things.

i never have any problems with the phone paring. the only thing that does bother me is if i was listening to Pandora when i turned the truck on. for some reason when i start it back up the "info" wont display on the screen. it still plays and works just no info? its a simple fix just swap to any other input (i usally just hit the tuner button) and click back on Pandora and its there. not sure if it is the head unit or my phone.

I'm looking to install the Pioneer 3800, with a back-up camera. I want the DVD ability for the significant other to watch a movie on long rides, and being able to sync my phone display to the headunit for nav is also important.

200$ I'll also consider the brand new Sony, which seems to be pretty good.

I put in the Jensen VX7022 DD - does everything. DVD, AM/FM, Bluetooth, Nav etc. Added back up camera and XM. All configured for it. Figured the ol' gal (02) has 276,000 miles on it - didnt want to put in a $800 unit. Think it all came to $350. Good luck!
