Double Din In Dash Screen 01 Yukon

I have 2001 GMC Yukon 5.3 V8, I just traded for it, the guy said the wiring on the aftermarket radio was wired wrong, I have a double din in dash screen which I wired myself and know all the wiring is correct, I know these have a amp in them which has to be turned on if i'm correct, Right now im getting no sound, I tried bypassing the amp by giving it power but still no sound, what could I be doing wrong? Is there a way to tell if the amp is blown or not? thanks

Did you connect the pink wire in the smaller harness to the blue remote wire on your radio? Be aware that some radios have a separate remote wire, AND a power antenna wire. Both will be blue but one will have a white stripe on it.

Did it came with onstar? You might need that bypass piece GMOS- LAN 01 or 02
