Is it possible to get a double din iPod/Bluetooth/GPS in-dash radio unit installed in the 1.5 din Tahoe? I know it does not fit out of the box, is it the size or the wiring harness that keeps it from being installed?

If anyone has any recommendations for one btw let me know. :)

I can get it done as long as the wiring is fine, is it just the fitment or do wiring harnesses have to be modified?

Also I've been curious, where do you get the plastic, dash-matching pieces that fill in the extra space?

not really too hard..i did it in my tahoe..the wiring is normal, just wire up the harness...I took my entire radio bucket out and used plumbing strap for the new bracketry..its help up great and is very sturdy..would make it a ***** to steal it as well..you then have to modify your stock bezel or get a 03-06 bezel, but then your outlets wont be exposed and the bezel doesnt fit quite right..

it also depends on what screen you go with..the 4100 that i have is the biggest they make, with a 7" screen, so that makes fitment a little harder..they are not all universal..if you go with a pioneer 4000 it would have made my life easier, but i love the big screen..i highly recommend the pioneer 4100
