Does anyone have a set up similar to these in their OBS? I am interested in this sub box as cargo space is at a premium for me since I do quite a lot of outdoor activities and more often than not have a lot of gear to carry with.

Can someone give me an idea of what these boxes might sound like? I don't know of anyone or any place that I can listen to a demo.

I am not looking for anything too loud or too big.

What are your thoughts?

if you do it, be sure to have a sub that will fit depth wise, and work in a small airspace. That box is .70 per side...small!

Would be a good route to save space for the hatchback but my only concerns would be havin the sound suffer because of lack of space and the sub cone holding up and not sagging over time

thank you for all the responses... I think I am going to go this route with the box however, I am having a hard time finding a suitable set of 10 inch subs to install in the box considering it's very shallow depth of 4.5 inches.

Does anyone have any good recommendations?

I am planning to use a 4 channel Sundown amp 50.4 wired to power the front and rear doors on the front channels, and then using the rear channels bridged to power a set of small subs for the under seat box.

reason for choosing this small amp is because I wanted to install it into the recessed area of the passenger side rear cargo panel. It appears to be void and empty behind the panel and looks like the amp will fit just fine there. I like the stealth install approach here. Another question, will this amp be okay to install in a vertical position behind the panel. what about air flow for cooling the amp?

Do you think this will work?

I do also have a Sundown 100.4 but can't find a suitable place to install it in the OBS without losing quite a bit of space.

I have a similar box in mine. I use 2 kicker l5 8's and it sounds pretty good. I had some pictures on my old computer but the HD crashed in it and I lost everything.
I bought mine from a friend locally who sells on ebay. I will try to find a link.

That is my actual box he used for the picture. He can load it just about any way you want

I think I may try one of these in the 12" version. There seem to be a lot of options now for a shallow mount that works in low space. Although I think the general consensus is shallow mounts don't drop low. I think CVT call for 1.0 cu and the box is .7, so polyfill and pray. I have a few other sub options though. I like the idea of it though
