While driving i rolled down the front passanger window and couldnt roll it up. The driver window is not working as well...but both rear windows work...everything else works fine.....i tried a new master window switch still nothing....could the moter going out on the passenger window effect the driver window or could i have a bad relay?

Check all your fuses and do a visual on the relays in and out. Relays can be difficult to diagnose without a meter but look for burning on and around the terminals, that could be a sign. I believe the front and rear windows are fused separately too (front and back).
You say new switch, is it actually new or a used piece? The only way the passenger window would disable the drivers would be that they are, as i stated above, fused/relayed together making that appear to be the likely scenario you're encountering. Both failing at the same time due to hardware failure is extremely unlikely. I've been wrong before though... Once. Haha

Try pulling your negative battery cable for a few mins up to 30 (to know it's reset) and let the bcm reset. That's how I got my rear windows working again. I would also touch negative cable to positive terminal to make sure everything has dissapated.

It is not likely that a failing battery is causing your problem, but.....GM cars and trucks can be susceptible to having unexplainable electrical symptoms, which disappear after replacing the battery or the alternator. If an internal battery connection starts to fail or the alternator has diodes that are going bad, electrical "noise" can appear on the 12 volt circuits. This noise can then confuse the computerized modules. As time goes on, the processing speed of automotive computers increases, making the modules more sensitive to poor quality 12 volt power.

Even if you solve the problem by removing power to reset, keep in mind that more symptoms (not necessarily identical) can appear in the future.
