I'm about to pick up a '98 2-door and the owner says the only issue inside is the driver's power seat doesn't work. He's not sure if it's the motor or just a switch. I'm having it looked at this weekend, but does anyone have any experience with this?

Is it an expensive fix? If so, how easy is it to find and replace seats on these? There's gotta be plenty out there right?

the motors/seatrs are generally gotten from a junk yard. the switch usually from a dealer. is it all functions? if so you may just have a missing or broken circuit breaker on the i/p fuse block on the left side of dash. there should be two of them there.

no more then $100is very likely. unplug connector from body and use 15mm sockets for bolts. they will need effort to remove and install.
