Driver side door won't open

Well I don't know what the hell happened but last night I pulled the tahoe in the garage (after my wife having it and driving it all day) crawled in from the passanger side door and instictively pulled the driver side handle and like magic, it opened! I was at a loss for words. My wife did however say that she got pissed at some point in the day and I guess pulled the panel or hit it so i'm guessing thats what did it. Next time she has this problem I'm just gonna let the dealership handle it.

drivers side door lock actuator is sticking, your wife beating on the door was probably enough of a shock to get it working again...for how long is anyones guess.

InTruck is correct. Mine did it too...and when I beat the crap out of the handle it worked. I did get it replaced so it didn't happen again. I am too old to Duke Boy it

Same thing happened to me. I left the truck running with heat in HI. About 10 mins, no problem. Strange. Just out of curiosity, have you had exterior door handles replaced? I've had 8 done under warranty.

Happened to my rear passenger door a few weeks ago in VT. 8 deg is morn. Door would unlock with remote or door buttons up front. I could manually unlock and open. The problem clear up after truck warmed up a bit.
