Driver Side Mirror Compatability

The mirrors are not directly compatable. The wires are too short and the plug is slightly different. From here I think I will look for a wiring diagram and splice the new mirrors to the old plugs and make them work. If anyone knows where a diagram is that would help, but I haven't searched yet. I can use a tester and figure out which is which if I do not find one. Thanks.

I too bought an aftermarket driver side mirror replacement.

The plug from the old mirror goes from the mirror down the door and into the window switch.

The new mirror plug is only 6 inches long. Did you find a schematic?

Also my original mirrors were power, no folding, no heat and no puddle lights. It's an 04 Tahoe with leather and power pedals... Does this seem right?
