I have a 2011 Tahoe and driver side window not working. It was working till I took it to the shop and some how they broke the door handle. They replaced that and tried to figured out while the window wasn’t working and said it was the switch. Well I bought a new switch and still no click bought new regulator and just plug the switch from the motor to see if it was that.. no movement from new motor or any click from the switch.. I also pulled boot from door to check wires to see if the had any slices or broke. No luck there either. So I’m wonder if it’s a fuse or am I missing something else. All unlocks and all other windows work just not driver side window... even took old window switch off and apart to clean it to check and see if it would work. Didn’t work. So please somebody help

If you are sure the regulator and switch are good then there is likely a shorted wire between the two, take a multi meter and check each wire for continuity. when you find the wire that does not have continuity then that is your shorted wire.

unplug the window regulator, get power to its plug, theres no wrong way to power it, one way is up, the other is down.

you can use a 12 volt drill battery with a pair of jumpers off its power leads. or a long wire off the trucks battery and a ground will also work.

if it dont move still its the window motor thats shot. best to get a new regulator with a new motor, the cable wears out the sliders over time too, or the cable can fray up and jam up at the motor.
