Update… after what feels like 90 phone calls, I found a dealer with the part in stock. Non-negotiable $310 plus tax and shipping put it at $350. Then my local dealer will charge between $100-$165 to program it. At this point I am going to warranty out the the Standard Automotive part and see what happens with it. O’Reilly’s ordered it today and it will be here tomorrow. I will swap it on Saturday and see what happens.

On another note, I was putting the trash out when my daughter got in it to start it this morning and all I heard was tensioner chirping. I ordered new belts, tensioners and an idler today. It will be me and the Yukon partying on Saturday. Once I have the window switch replaced, I’ll update.

I replaced the switch assembly Saturday night. So far, everything works exactly like it should. The part number I used is from Standard Automotive, part number DWS-394. This is the second time I have warrantied it out and the 4th one I have put in since replacing the original. To recap, I have tried an Amazon replacement, a Dorman replacement, and the Standard replacement from O’reilly’s. It is cheaper on Rock Auto but if you have to warranty it out it is going to be problematic with return shipping and waiting for the replacement to arrive. Let’s see if this one can last.

It was easier to negotiate for me because I told them about being a Vet.
