Yes, I notice the one under the left leg. It does seem to be a hard surface when compressed and pokes into my hamstring/glute.

I too would be curious if there is a way to move it, perhaps towards the outside of the seat.

FWIW, I'm 6'3" 215#.

2015 Tahoe LT with Luxury Pkg & Sun Ent Pkg, basically LTZ
3,000 miles

Within a few weeks of buying my new 2015 Tahoe I have started to feel the Lane Departure / Parking sensors pressing in to the back of my legs/rear, that are in the driver seat base.

Even with the sensors turned off, they protrude up in to the drivers back side. Differet driver weights and sizes tried and felt it.

I did not feel when I test drove cause I was wearing heavy jeans.

Major design flaw or defect, call it what you want.

Has anyone had success having this problem addressed?

Serious regrets in Thousand Oaks, CA

YES! Had back to the dealer and they performed a TSB( moved padding, wire harness ) for the 2015 (mines a 16) and no help. It wasn't bad at first but has been getting progressively worse, now with 3500 miles on it I don't even want to drive it. Going back on Monday. I'll post how Iake out

has anyone had the tsb done? Our 15 yukon xl SLT has this issue and it becomes painful during long trips. We can clearly feel the hard sensors just under the seat cover and they are hard as a rock with no give. 5'10 170lbs.

I am also having pain from the seat sensors on my 15 Tahoe LT, 15K miles. I was hoping once the seat was broken in, it would get better - but it is more uncomfortable than ever. When I contacted my Houston area dealer about the issue, they replied they couldn't do anything about the sensors. When I further explained the fix via the link above, I got the "void the seat warranty" lecture. They suggested I bring it in and they will check to see if the sensors have moved out of place. Also, I could try a 2016 and see if the seat was more comfortable and possibly trade up! No thank you!!

Anyone in the Houston area have a dealer that was willing to work on the seat sensors?

I have an excellent dealership near me and the service manager has worked with me to resolve the problem. He is aware of it and does not deny it,however his hands are tied because it is a safety issue. He started a case for me with GM. I basically have 3 choices: live with it, move them myself or lemon law it. The problem goes across all the full-size GM with leather. I want a full-size GM. I don't want a ford or a Durango or a Toyota. I simply peeled back the seat cover and pulled the sensors out and let them hang. Problem solved. It took me all of 15 minutes. If I sell it I simply put them back. I never used it as I found it annoying because I drive on country roads a lot. I'm not telling anyone to do this but it made my arse happy.
