Thanks for the information! I will have my husband pull the sensors this weekend. Let them "hang"? You mean hang down the sides of the seat?

does anyone have pics of the sensors on the frame with the cover removed?

can you rotate the sensors, re-position to another spot so they'll still buzz your rear when activated, but don't cause rough lumps?
The problem goes across all the full-size GM with leather.
I've got the cloth seats and they're horrible.

I would appreciate pictures, too. Instead of having the sensors hang on the side of seat, relocating them might be better. I was thinking towards the rear of the seat where it meets the seat back.

The left hangs thru the middle of the seat frame, the right one hangs between the seat and console

You could try it. I took the easiest way out. Thought it was a useless option anyway.

I leased a 2015 Tahoe. Have 40k miles and I can say it is Brutally painful to drive. The seat is pinching my siatic nerve to the point I think the international flight I took this year in coach was more confortable. I let one of my employees take it on a trip to do customer sales. When he got back he said he would NEVER drive that Tahoe again. He gets the same pains in his leg and lower back that I do. I am getting rid of this in the next month.

I find that the seats in our Denali are very uncomfortable. Overall I still prefer the truck over everything but the Land Cruiser so we are keeping it. I may have to see if the sensors are what are causing my problem.
