Drivers side seat - taking me for a ride

Hello all,
I am very new to the Tahoe platform. I just purchased a 2004 Tahoe Z71. She needs some work but I love this truck.

Here is the issue I am having: I set my seat in the position I like, held in the number 1 button and I hear two chimes like it is set. However, when I TURN OFF the truck, the seat goes back and up and changes everything. Am I doing this wrong? Is there something I can/should reset in the DIC? As soon as I hit the number 1 button though it takes my seat to the settings I set, so it is getting programmed - its just reverting back to a weird position when I turn off the truck? Any ideas?

In the Dic there is a setting for exiting the vehicle. That maybe on. Try that. But it moves the seat back when exiting. Yours is moving forward?

It depends on where you set the exit position. Like you, mine is set further back then the driving position so goes back on exit.
