Is there no means to ALWAYS have both DRL and Fog Lights on? Only thread I found was here..but nothing solid. I have seen other threads people talking about having their DRL on always...mine do not stay on during the day. While it might not be "needed" per say, I would like DRL and Fogs on anytime the AT4 is on.

Much Thanks

I’ve seen no setting to have the fogs turn on automatically with the drl. I often switch mine on (daytime) as that’s the only way I can get my gmc emblem to illuminate without the headlights being on. Bummer is when the fogs turn on the drl gets much dimmer, probably half the brightness as when it’s the only lights that are on. My emblem also only illuminates at this reduced brightness level and you can’t really tell it’s on during the day unless the skies are really dark and cloudy

Had my lights set to On position just to use the fogs on my drive home and almost forgot to turn them off when I got home. Indicator was the the horn didnt beep when I armed. Someone needs to create a .bat file for all these items to occur at start/shutdown lol.

You shouldn't need to have the switch in the ON position to use the fogs. I never change the switch from AUTO and the fog light button is independent and turns the fogs on or off regardless of what the headlights are doing. Then they go off when you shut off the vehicle.

If it's darker out like early evening and the headlights come on in AUTO but you want only fogs you can turn on the fogs then toggle the headlight switch over to OFF and the headlights will go out but fogs will stay on. As it turns to night you will have to turn the headlights back on yourself though

there is no setting and never will be but you could do it yourself with a simple relay from the DRL positive to the fog positive wire, simple enough to just get a meter out and start probing wires, relays are cheap and it's easy to do.
DRL positive signal is the trigger
battery positive to relay
relay to ground
relay output to fog light positive
as a safety protocol add a fuse from battery positive to relay, 10-15amp should be sufficient since most of this newer stuff is led
IF for some reason gm has decided to now incorporate canbus and you get any kind of error message on the DIC then you would just need to add a resistor.
